Industry Veteran to Lead Innovation for Financial Services
ATLANTA, April 8, 2010 – First Data Corporation, a global leader in electronic commerce and payment processing, today announced that Steve Boehm has joined the company as senior vice president leading global product management and innovation for First Data’s Financial Services division.

Boehm most recently was co-leader of the Wells Fargo/Wachovia integration team at Wachovia. Prior to that, he held various leadership roles during a 17-year career at Wachovia, including president of Card and Payment Solutions, general manager of Wachovia Director Access (contact centers), and chief operating officer of the Customer Direct Access division (cards, web banking, customer service). Previously, Boehm led member relations for the western United States for Visa USA, ran financial services product management for the American Automobile Association and acted as chief operating officer of the credit card business at First Virginia Bank. Steve has a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and an MBA from George Mason University.
